Downtown Sew and Vac was started in the late 70’s as Meyers Sew &Vac in downtown Iron Mountain and was purchased in 1997 by Rick Zolner. In addition to selling high quality vacuum cleaners and sewing machines, I have added a variety of unique and high quality products designed to make your life easier.

Over the years, I have brought in many items that don't have much to do with the name of the store. Some of the products I found at various conventions I attended while other products I brought in just because they were things I wanted, but were not available in the area.

If I like the product and the supplier is good, customers usually like it too. There are some unique products at Downtown Sew & Vac that are not familiar to many, and some items that people would like to have for their home.
